My HCP internship was during the summer of 2014! I was very lucky to have this internship because I was still in high school and had hands-on experience with a lot of HCP history! I was in charge of updating HCP’s website with past exhibition photos and the respective information that came with them. I also updated HCP’s online archives, which included issues of SPOT dating all the way back to the first issue ever published in 1983! Aside from working on the website, I was privileged enough to experience a gallery opening at HCP where I met many incredible artists showcasing their work for the summer. After I had finished my summer internship at HCP, I started my senior year at The Kinkaid School. Now, for the summer going into my freshman year of college, I am shooting portraits for seniors and girls looking to rush, going to Instagram of Houston photo meet-ups, as well as shooting and selling stock photos. On the non-art frontier, I am training for college lacrosse at Occidental College in Los Angeles, as well as hiking and rock climbing!
