Class meets Monday, December 18th, from 6:00—9:00 pm

From Edward Weston's green peppers to Rolex's gold watches, still life & product photography covers a broad range of subject matter that can serve many purposes from the artistic to the commercial. Doing it well is an essential skill for a photographer.

Lighting and composition will be the main topics in this new course in HCP's brand new lighting studio. The class will answer questions such as, "How do I control reflections on the surface of glass?" or, “What depth of field would best portray this platoon of toy soldiers?" and “How do I make that apple appear as if it is falling?” It will also teach you how to control studio materials and master the tricks of the trade. This class is also great for anyone wanting to learn how to document 3-dimensional artwork.
