In Part 1 of this three part workshop, participants will meet at HCP and receive an introduction to the art and techniques of photographing the landscape. In Part 2, the group will meet at the unique and beautiful Jessie Jones Park, located along the banks of Spring Creek. Here, the group will photograph together with the guidance of the instructor. The group will explore and photograph this diverse ecosystem, including ancient cypress bogs, natural white sand beaches and wildflower meadows. Participants will discuss and share their camera settings and will talk about composition. In Part 3, participants will meet back at HCP and talk about their images in a friendly discussion / critique meeting for the group benefit.

What to bring to class:
Digital Camera with 'Manual' Mode
Final work presented in print or digital (jpegs on CD or USB drive) format on last day
Photography I: Learning the Basics or
Knowledge of shutter speed, aperture, film speed and light metering
