  Start Date August 21
  Time 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  Instructor Laszlo Perlaky

Class meets:

Saturday, August 25th, from 8:00 am–12:00 pm offsite
Wednesday, August 29th, from 6:00–9:00 at HCP

Get ready to get up-close and personal! This course will introduce you to techniques, tools, and lenses used for extreme close-up photography.
The first part of the class is a presentation about lenses for close up and macro, background info, and explanation of getting closer by using lenses. Learn to determine magnification and working distances the simple way - with your camera's standard lens - instead of with expensive professional lenses. The second part allows students to set-up their own macro images using their own equipment. On day 2, the class will go on location to Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary for hands-on instruction.
On day 3, the class will meet at HCP for a group discussion and critique of the edited images.
