The Lake House along the Cullen Veranda (see map below)

Before the dead heat of Summer hits the Bayou City, join us for a tour highlighting the architecture around Discovery Green with Mat Wolff, Associate Director of the Houston chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Discovery Green, Downtown's premier green space, encompasses 12 acres and is surrounded by the George R. Brown Convention Center, hotels and downtown sports arenas. The park was developed by the Houston Downtown Park Conservancy, a group of leading local foundations, philanthropists and civic officials. "Downtown's new backyard", this dynamic park includes 2 restaurants, kids play area, man-made lake, 2 dog runs, multiuse amphitheater, event lawn and more.

For more about Discovery Green, please visit their relevant page here. Park rules are available here and specifics regarding parking here.
