Meeting Place: Heights Blvd and 18th St on the central esplanade

Join us for a tour highlighting the architecture around Heights Blvd with Mat Wolff, Associate Director of the Houston chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Come marvel at the grand Victorian mansions and quaint bungalows of Houston’s first master-planned community. Founded in 1891, residents once flocked to the area to escape the big city. Today, people are drawn to The Heights for its rich and character-filled architecture, mom and pop-type shops and funky restaurants.

We will meeting at the esplanade on Heights Blvd, a broad, tree-lined central street patterned after Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.

RSVP by 12:00pm Friday, October 14th.

A final update email will be sent later that afternoon to those who have RSVP'd.

As a reminder, Capture Crawl events are available to members only. There will be no admission for family or friends.

Please email Megan Sparks or call 713.529.4755 ext.10 if you have any questions.
