Houston Museum of Natural Sciences: Cockrell Buttefly Center

5555 Hermann Park Drive
7:00 to 9:00am

Join us on a joint outing with the HMNS Pixel Party crew as we explore the beautiful Cockrell Butterfly Center. Capture Crawlers will get two hours of private viewing before the museum opens for regular business hours in this stunning, three-story glass structure. This simulated tropical rainforest in the heart of the Museum District is rife with opportunities to photograph butterflies and exotic plants in all shapes and sizes.

A note about photography in the Cockrell: Please be mindful of staying on allocated pathways and not forging through any foliage. HMNS staff will be quick to remove any guests who stray outside of the bounds and re-entry will not be granted.

RSVP: please email Joseph Roberts or call 713.529.4755 ext.10 by 12:00pm Friday, June 24th. A final update email will be sent later that afternoon to those who have RSVP'd.

As a reminder, Capture Crawl events are available to members only. There will be no admission for family or friends.
