Photography III: Hacking Your Camera
Class meets four Tuesdays: August 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th, from 7:00–9:00 pm.
An aspiring photographer often views camera as a sophiscated, if not mysterious, apparatus that delivers images through its own mind. A seasoned photographer, though, uses camera as a tool which can be made to achieve whatever the artist's visions desire. Photography III takes you through this transition. In this class, we hack the camera so it does things the camera makers did not imagine in their wildest dreams. From using filters that cuts down the light to 1/1000 to converting the state-of-the-art dSLR into a pinhole camera, we are in for experiments!
