Photo Processing (Introduction to Photoshop & Printing Basics)

In this session you will learn the basic tools to process a photograph using the different techniques available in Photoshop. Learn how to import photographs, crop them, adjust the color, hue and saturation, and more. No prior Photoshop use required.
Think before you print. This course will help you understand essential printing terms and familiarize you with handy color correction techniques, color management and basic resizing.

What students need to bring:
Digital Camera with 'Manual' Mode
Memory card
Portable storage device
2 - 5 images to print
Photo paper for an inkjet printer

Focusing Spot: A Creative Space for Young Photographers introduces you to different photographic techniques such as lighting, editing and processing, alternative processes, color management and printing. Perfect for teens between the ages for 12-17, as you move along the courses, each day you will learn new and different techniques.

Early registration (November 14th–21st) is for HCP members only.
Registration for the general public begins Wednesday, November 22nd.
