FotoFest & Houston Center for Photography present This Side of Paradise: New Photographic Work by Texas Artists on view at each location October 8-November 14, 2015. This year’s exhibition is curated by Catherine D. Anspon (PaperCity Magazine, Houston, TX)

The Talent in Texas series was initiated by FotoFest in 2004, and has been presented in collaboration with the Houston Center for Photography since 2007. The series began with the exhibition Home and Garden (2004, curated by Wendy Watriss and Jennifer Ward), and continued with the exhibitions Native Sons (2006, curators Jennifer Ward and Vinod Hopson); Viewfinder (2009, curators Arturo Palacios and Risa Puleo); Nowhere Near Here (2011, curators Toby Kamps and Michelle White); and Moving/Still (2013, curator Kerry Inman).
